Rey asked:

I’m writing a paper on a book and I wanted to make comparisons to the story of the fall of Lucifer. I was wondering if there was a site where I could get specific quotes from that part of the Bible? Most of the sites I have been to do not offer that.

Bible Readers: Is the “about half an hour of silence” (Revelation 8:1) and the 2300 days of Daniel 8:14.

pilgrim153 asked:

speaking of the same period of time? What does the “about half an hour of silence” and the 2300 days of the transgression of desolation refer to?

I read this in Luke 15:7, “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”

From this verse, it appears that Heaven (God’s throne room) would usually be filled with songs of praise and worship of the Lord every time a sinner was saved. Does this mean that no one is being saved during the about half an hour of silence?

In 1 Corinthians 10:8 we read, “Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.”

Every time the number “23″ appears in the Bible, it is associated with judgment (wrath-plagues, famine, pestilence..)

Brian V asked:

If you quote the bible, what is the appropriate way to do so? Example, would this format be correct?

“I thank my God every time I remember you.” - Philippians 1:3 (New International Version)

Are the quotes in the right place? Is the hyphen between the verse and the book the right punctuation? Can you show me a reference of the appropriate way to quote the bible?

Is it proper etiquette to reply with verses from the Quoran, Torah or the Satanic bible at the bottom of mine? Why are Christians the only ones who seem to engage in this offensive behavior of blatantly disrespecting my beliefs?

TKD540 asked:

Some of you post bible quotations, which you either memorized like a parrot or copied from some website. Do you think I, or anyone else as a matter of fact, read them? I ask a question regarding the rationality of there being a God and you come a preach Jesus. I dont understand. I wanted a rational argument, not an excerpt from a controversial book?
that says “and” instead of “a” before preach
