How do you orally read Bible Quotations?

   The words volume is optional you dont have to say matthew five nine.

   Sure you can do it that way, or just say Matthew 5 9.

   I say “Matthew 5, 9″, but you can do it either way…

   yes.. Matt 5:9-12 would be Matthew, Chapter 5, Verse 9 through 12. Matt 5:9-10, 13-15 (just skip verses 11 & 12). (sorry I’m bored so I’m just typing a lot)

   I personally have always read it as Matthew 5:9. Some churches you can read it as Matthew Chapter 5 verse 9 but I haven’t been in many that require it. If I were you I would just read it as Matthew 5:9.
