What sections of the bible should I read?

I got a new bible after reading a bible that was mostly old testament and was boring. I am looking for some sections from the new testament that tell of Jesus’ teachings and stories that teach lessons.

Most people including me, start with the gospel of John.
Also, read the book of Acts It’s very good to know the church’s early history.

Start with Acts. Then go on to the Gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I am glad to see you are reading the Bible. I hope you continue with your studies.

The four gospels are probably part of the best. But really the New Testament is a good place to start.
